NYSC boss refutes claim asking corp members to bring one thousand five hundred naira before collecting new allowance

Following the new increase in the allowances of the NYSC members as announced by Director General of NYSC last week in the maiduguri camps and in Jos where he went to have speech with them intimating them on rubrics of the outside world, among some of the thing the Director General; Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga spoke on were the worrying state of insecurity in Maiduguri, that those seeking posting away from the state should do so but that they will not be posted to their home state that it mitigated the code of the NYSC, and secondly that due to the increase in the allowances there were text messages going round that each corp member will have to part with the sum of one thousand five hundred naira only before they could get their allowances. He said the NYSC has not asked any corper to do so and is asking them to be vigilant.
