South sudan the youngest country in africa

Due to the referendum carried out in the sudan on the cesassion of the country into south sudan and north sudan. There was wide segretion and animocity in the country and alot of tribal killing following a long time of religious intolerance.
Barely a month there was wide killings in the Abiyei region of the country. There were claims from the northern police that forces from the southern side attacked them first and there were counter claims. The abiyei region is rich with crude oil so there will alot of negotiations before peace will come to that region.
The northern region is predominantly muslim while the south is christian.
With all this theething problems however the south voted overwhelmingly for seperation. Now it it is just three hours before the country becomes the the youngest country in africa.
